Combined Training Institute of Home Guards and Civil Defence is situated in 6 acres at Moginand, Panchkula. This institute imparts training to regular staff and volunteers from time to time throughout the year on different subjects such as:
First Aid, Fire fighting, Casualty, Rescue, Unexploded Bomb, Crowd Control, Drill, Drill with arms, P.T., Store Preservation , Traffic, Communication, Flood Relief, Weapon & Tactics.
The Home Guards and Civil Defence employees are given training so that they may train their staff, volunteers, and general public in their districts.
